Breakfast Quesadilla...made these for breakfast this morning, but I used sausage. These are great! I think next time I will use pepperjack cheese instead of cheddar.
Oreo. Stuffed. Chocolate Chip Cookies. WOW.
Mint Oreo Truffles These came out softer than I would like, probably because Mint Oreos have more cream than standard Oreos. So if you give these a try, I would maybe use a little less cream cheese, or add a half a cup of Oreo crumbs. Ingredients 1 package mint oreo cookies 1 8oz. package cream cheese (softened) 12 oz. white chocolate 2-4 tablespoons vegetable oil (optional) 1 teaspoon peppermint extract green food colouring

"Laugh at the days to come" - Proverbs 31:25 ||| “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?... Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" Matthew 6:25-27

This super simple slouch hat is perfect for beginners looking to play with some basic shaping and textures, but it's also fun for the intermediate crocheter who wants to whip up something quick and cute. Supplies: * Medium/Worsted Weight yarn * US H8/5.00mm * US G6/4.00mm * Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends) Gauge: The gauge for the Red Heart Shimmer (shown in the purple hat photo above) is 14dc x 9r = 4in/10cm using an H8/5.00mm crochet hook. Notes: * If you choose to use yarn like Red Heart Super Saver, please note that it is thicker than the medium/worsted yarn used in my prototypes and could possibly make your hat much larger than gauge. You can adjust the hat's size accordingly by eliminating increase rounds and removing some of the straight rounds toward the bottom of the hat according to preference. * Make sure you are joining directly into the top of the ch-2 at the end of each round, not into the gap between the ch-2 and the next DC. Joining into the gap will create a hole. Instructions (Read the pattern below or click here to download the PDF from Craftsy!): Begin with magic loop (click here to watch a how-to video). * Row 1: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), 11 DCs in ring; join to top of ch 2 and pull loop tight (12 sts) * Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), DC in same st, *2 DCs in next st* around; join (24 sts) * Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), DC in next st, 2 DCs in next st, *DC in next 2 sts, 2 DCs in next st* around; join (32 sts) * Row 4: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), 2 DCs in next st, *DC in next 3 sts, 2 DCs in next st* around; join (40 sts) * Row 5: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), 2 DCs in next st, *DC in next 4 sts, 2 DCs in next st* around; join (48 sts) * Row 6: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), 2 DCs in next st, *DC in next 5 sts, 2 DCs in next st* around; join (56 sts) * Row 7: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), 2 DCs in next st, *DC in next 6 sts, 2 DCs in next st* around; join (64 sts) * Row 8: Ch 2 (counts as first DC), 2 DCs in next st, *DC in next 7 sts, 2 DCs in next st* around; join (72 sts) * Row 9: Ch 2, *DCin each st aroud*, join; * Rows 10-28: Repeat Row 9 for 19 rows; join o Note: This is where you can remove rows, if needed, to lessen the amount of slouch dependent on gauge. Basically, work these rows until you reach your preferred length. * Row 29: Switch to smaller hook, ch 1, *in back loop only, sc in each st around*; join * Rows 30-34: Repeat Row 29 Fasten off. I hope you all enjoy this pattern! If you have any photos, definitely post them on Ravelry because I'd love to see everything you make :) Thanks for taking the time to drop by and check it out! This could be a great classroom job chart idea. It is creative and will draw the attention of the students. I can't think of any reasons as to why this would be a bad idea. Yes, it would take time, but if done right then you can use it for a long time.

Baked Cheesy Chicken Chimichangas - These turned out MUCH better than I had planned; which means they will be my go-to method for making chimichangas. So much easier than frying, and less time! Any combination of ingredients would be great in these, but I copied this particular recipe from Six Sisters' Stuff.
I've made mistakes in my life, I've let people take advantage of me and I've accepted way less than I deserve. But I've learned there are mistakes I can't erase, things I can never change and people who will never be truly sorry... So next time I'll know better and this time I won't settle for anything less than I deserve.

THIS IS WORTH KEEPING AND READING FREQUENTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Written by a 90 Year Old..... This is something we should all read at least once a week!!!!! Make sure you read to the end!!!!!! Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio . "To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more: 1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. 4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch. 5. Pay off your credit cards every month. 6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. 7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it. 9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck. 10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile. 11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present. 12. It's OK to let your children see you cry. 13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it. 15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks. 16. Take a deep breath It calms the mind. 17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful. 18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger. 19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else. 20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer. 21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special. 22. Over prepare, then go with the flow. 23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple. 24. The most important sex organ is the brain. 25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you. 26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words :'In five years, will this matter?' 27. Always choose life.. 28. Forgive everyone everything. 29. What other people think of you is none of your business. 30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time. 31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. 32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 33. Believe in miracles. 34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do. 35. Don't audit life.. Show up and make the most of it now. 36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young. 37. Your children get only one childhood. 38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved. 39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere. 40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back. 41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need. 42. The best is yet to come... 43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up. 44. Yield. 45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
