Pamela's Favorite from her collection (inspired by wrought iron gates in old school New York elevators)
I think this is my favorite necklace so far. I would have to ask her if she could make a matching bracelet.
Emily emailed to ask if we had a chocolate mint cake recipe to try for her Dad's birthday because it is his favorite dessert flavor combination. I think we can fulfill that request with our Midnight Mint Chocolate Cake - the perfect combination of dark chocolate cake and creamy mint buttercream frosting. A classic combination that makes a classic celebration cake.
5 Tips for Better Self Portraits. From A Beautiful Mess. (I sort of think Elsie should have added, "Look Like A Fashion Model" to the list, as Number 6. Because, hey, that helps her a bit.)
Foods and Recipes
Fabric Organizer Bin from Rad Crafter. I think this is one of my favorite bin tutorials, because she includes a cutting template. Also love her handle technique.
Addie said she could wear her hair like this for school. I think she needs a new mom.
Wedding present I made for my best friend- her new last name, photos taken from some of their favorite places
Troll-doll loving Foxie makes me laugh everyday. Despite her horrible past (born in a lab, used for hepatitis research, babies taken away from her), Foxie loves to play at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest (ChimpsNW.org). Once she's decided you're a friend (it takes her a little while to warm up to new people), Foxie will be one of the most fun friends you'll ever have. I think she genuinely enjoys making others happy. She is seriously obsessed with troll dolls and has one (or five) with her at all times. I love to watch her play long games of troll-keep-away with Jamie.
Emily Carroll is my favorite. This is her take on a scene of Lenina in Brave New World.

Queen Elizabeth II--by far, the BEST pic I have ever seen of her. Pink is her color!
I suddenly have a thing for rings after trying on Kirsten's ring from her family.
I love her! She has tons of patterns and video tutorials for all things crochet. My favorite beanie pattern is from her. By watching her
Famous necklace of Anne Boleyn. She actually had three similar necklaces, one with an A, one with a B, and one with an AB. It is rumored that her jewels were passed down to Elizabeth I, and also that pearls from Elizabeth I are in the crown of Elizabeth II. Interesting to think they could possibly be from this legendary necklace.
A first look at the new Emily + Meritt Pottery Barn Kids nursery collection! The designers were inspired by their favorite childhood stories when dreaming up this whimsical wonderland. The collection is vintage charm with a modern twist, filled with black and white plush toys, soft pink and gold bedding, and brass animals straight from a dream.
Lauren Ralph Lauren home has a new line of furniture at Haverty's! Stop by @Holly Elkins Elkins Elkins Elkins Elkins Elkins Mathis's blog for a quick peek of what they have to offer. I think this storage piece is my favorite ... but it was hard to choose!
I think I have found one of my new favorite authors. Sarah Addison Allen managed to combine magic and a seemingly simple plot into a wonderful tale that hinges on several characters. I'm going to try another one of her books...
