Every year on the first day of school since they started kindergarten, I have given my kids "magic jelly beans". Red to make a new friend. Orange to be courageous. Yellow to learn something new. Green to have fun. Blue to remember that I love you. They are grown now. Two in high school. Two in middle school. But they still get magic jelly beans on the first day. Because they really seem to work!
I <3 kool-aid yarn dyeing in a crock pot because the water is more still, so the dye tends to stick to the yarn where it falls more, and colors tend to blend together less. This makes a variegated yarn with more defined colors, instead of just a few colors which are blended together. My specific flavors used were: Lemon Lime, Orange, Strawberry, Berry Blue, and Lemonade.
Clothes to die for
Just Because It's Pretty by Maureen O'Doogan. I love how bright and cheery this #quilt is.
I love this gown! It's form fittling, simple, elegant....and just about perfect for a Mormon wedding because of the cap sleeves.
Find out why we love Zosia Mamet (hint: it's not just because of Girls)
