This is my first and only tattoo. I got this tattoo done on August 28, 2010.. my father’s birthday. This tattoo is actually in dedication to my mother who has never abandoned me, given up on me or let me face the world alone. My father was never there.. so this tattoo is a reminder to me that my mother is the only person I need in this world. When I was very young, my mother dedicated the song “I’ll Stand By You” by The Pretenders, to me. This is a line from the song “Even when you feel alone...

I love how this has been pinned time and time again as "Ginko leaf" - the tree is actually Ginkgo --- but I grew up on a street called Ginko Drive - it was misspelled, so I this is the one time I'm OK with a misspelling! -Sam :) (PS: I totally want this, as it reminds me of my roots [pun intended]!)

Positive Affirmations Card - I had several for my last labor/birth (and leading up to it), but the one that helped me the most was, "No contraction can be stronger than me, because it IS me." as well as being reminded that God made me for this...and I can do all things through Christ.

A nice gift for teachers the first day of school. It's a TEACHERS FIRST AID KIT: Very simple. I got mini floss organizers at the craft store and made a little label in photoshop Then I filled them with Band-Aids, a hand-sanitizer, treats, and other small school stuff. I was inspired when I was saw this big craft box with school supplies. It is stinkin' cute! Then I filled them with Band -Aids, a hand-sanitizer, treats, and other small school stuff. I was inspired when I was saw this big craft box with school supplies. It is stinkin' cute! I wrapped it up with a tag. (The apple is from the "hello teacher kit" on house of 3). THE NOTE CAN READ: Twas the night before school started, and all through the house. All the kids were stirring, trying to find their new blouse. Their backpacks were hung on their doorknobs with care, In hopes that I'd wake up in time to do their hair. I want to be nestled, all snug in my bed, But I'm glad I stayed up and made teacher gifts instead. Because teachers need kuddos and treats that bring cheer, And I am just hoping we have a good school year!

Burlap Wreath Tutorial. I love tutorials and this one is simply simple to follow and end up with a close duplicate! I love that the decor added can be easily changed with seasonal choices! This may be my "all year" wreath! I need one!
