Pat will use my design cased from Kay Kalthoff for her club project. She will use the new Moon Lake Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog 2015. What is so nice about this new stamp set is that it can be used alone or with two of my favorites, Gorgeous Grung or Wetlands. It is nice to mix old and new for a great looking Project!
Laura Ingalls Wilder (1867-1957.) Her work inspired generations and having grown up with her words in print and the portrayals of her and her family on TV, she continues reaching the masses 50+ years after her death.
<strong> </strong> We have another fall freebie for you! A mini set of graphing and counting printables! My 2nd grader still loves to play roll and graph, and she has since her Tot School days! When she was younger we used the 1-5 graph, but now we use the 1-10 graph! She plays with or without me, which is great. I taught her to choose her ‘winner’ from the images! she likes to ‘race’ the images. She likes ...

Pucker Up Pouch - LemonWhether you're poolside, at the beach, or just adhering to your everyday routine, the Pucker Up Pouch by Harveys Seatbelt Bags is a must have. It can hold everything from your phone, wallet, and small snacks, to makeup and lipstick so you'll always be prepared for that Pucker Up moment. This pouch has a canvas upper with a lemon yellow bottom. The words "Pucker Up" are screen printed in black on one side of the pouch. The top zipper features a lemon leaf charm that detaches and can also be used as a keychain.
Troll-doll loving Foxie makes me laugh everyday. Despite her horrible past (born in a lab, used for hepatitis research, babies taken away from her), Foxie loves to play at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest (ChimpsNW.org). Once she's decided you're a friend (it takes her a little while to warm up to new people), Foxie will be one of the most fun friends you'll ever have. I think she genuinely enjoys making others happy. She is seriously obsessed with troll dolls and has one (or five) with her at all times. I love to watch her play long games of troll-keep-away with Jamie.
Great ideas for decorating a camper or RV. She used gel tiles for her backsplash! Lots of other posts on redecorating and DIY projects in her rv and small spaces
Things to Create
Inspired by thrift store finds, Christy, a self-proclaimed "serial DIYer," crafted this upcycled jewlery storage tower for less than $4. The aqua dishes were the impetus for the DIY project, and with minimal elbow grease, she attached them to a single cleaned-up candlestick. Now her everyday jewelry is beautifully contained and at arm's reach on her dresser./
Jennifer Aniston, everything she does Is perfect. From her hair to her make up its amazing. She has proven herself as an actress in so many ways. A true beauty on the inside and out
People I Love
Editor in chief, Anna Wintour has been a style icon for decades. From her crisp Chanel suits to her signature sunglasses she has singlehandley influenced fashion with her immaculate taste in everything beautiful. She has always supported up and coming young designers like Phillp Lim and Erin Fetherson. She has even influenced books and movies such as "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Ugly Betty."
Thomas Tham. It is amazing to me, that this child can smile with the turmoil around her. She picks up a wired conduit to be used as her new found toy. She smiles. She plays. She is a child. Not knowing the world around her disintegrates. Or maybe she does know. I look at her and I praise God for her smile and thank Him for my blessings. JP 9/16/2012
Another great idea for teaching value using shades and tints. The original poster of this project, art teacher Jessica Young, gives a great explanation of the steps and tips she used with her fourth-grade students.
DIY: Milo Topiary - what an awesome project! She used milo (a grain grown in most places) & a half of a round piece of styrofoam.

TheScold’s Bridlewas a medieval device used for humiliating and scolding women accused of adultery, witchcraft, etc. The woman’s tongue would be pressed down by a spiked plate that prevented her from speaking or eating while wearing the headpiece. She would be led down town streets on a chain leash (normally held by her husband) while being humiliated and beaten.
Pumpkins & Bittersweet is the title of this cross stitch pattern from The Scarlett House that is just the right size for a quick autumn stitching project. The model is stitched on 40 Ct but you can choose any fabric and count you wish. The fibers used are Gentle Art Sampler threads (Brandy, Fragrant Cloves, Pumpkin Pie, Gold Leaf, Pecan Pie and Black Licorice). An alternative chart is provided if you do not wish to stitch the words 'bittersweet' over one.
For her 5-year-old daughter Ellison, Tobi designed a room fit for a princess who longs to be all grown up. A daybed pleases Ellison with its sofa-like adult look while the dramatic canopy that drapes down from the center of the wall above it delivers little-girl fantasy. The pale lavender walls and mint-green ceiling team up on the Clarence Hill toile Tobi used at the windows.
Alice Howland, happily married with three grown children, is a renowned linguistics professor who starts to forget words. When she receives a devastating diagnosis, Alice and her family find their bonds tested. *Based on the book Still Alice.

Demi Lovato- She has the words Stay Strong tattooed on her wrists over her scars from attempted suicides which makes me love her because she was able to overcome that sadness and try to remain strong through a hard time and its not a bad thing to seek help in a time of need.
For those who love yarn but not entirely ready to learn to knit or crochet, this braided scarf by Girls Loves Glam is a great project. She used our Wool-Ease Thick & Quick for her scarf project.
Harry Potter Hogwarts tie necklace - so glad she gave the DIY instructions. She has them available in her Etsy shop, for $15.50 then shipping on that. I'll be visiting a craft store soon. :)

DIY BARN WOOD :: She stained a piece of scrap board with Minwax white tint base wood stain in Slate and realized it was a bit too dark for her liking so she mixed the stain 50/50 with water which made a big difference. She let it dry over night and the next day used some ASCP in Pure White to white wash over the wood (mixing 1-2 Tbsp. with 1 cup water). She brushed it on then wiped it off with a paper towel. :: CLICK or here's another link: www.hawthorneandmain.com/2014/09/diy-barn-wood.html
