Work Zones ...when I was kid almost every kitchen had these pull out shelves which were used as the cutting board....I always loved them, and missed them when they became passe....so I'm thrilled to see them back again!

Nothing beats the smell of a Magnolia. I have always loved them. They come in many colours but not all of them grow well, up here in Canada.

You know that wonderful smell when you walk into Williams Sonoma? Here’s how to get it: water, sliced lemon, 3 springs of fresh rosemary and about a teaspoon of vanilla. Simmer on the stove....this smells amazing! I used 2 lemons, 3 sprigs of rosemary and about 2 tablespoons if vanilla. It only took 5 minutes to make the whole house smell fresh!
When my Daughter was younger all her friends called me the Napkin Lady. Each day in her lunch, I'd draw a picture, poem or just a little love note, and include a little goodie. It got to the point all her friends were asking me to also send them notes, even the boys. I had several that I'd include, once a week, I guess they loved the extra attention. When I saw this Pin, it reminded me of it... <3
