A vintage stitch (c.1915) that looks like knit - "Basically, this is a single crochet stitch done in the post of the stitch, rather than the front & back loops. It's important to keep the hook in the correct placement under the horizontal bar on the back of the stitch. Fabric is reversible." More info at Oombawka Design page, with **free pattern** for a hat using this stitch. #crochet by Lynne McLaughlin GBWI8

Love it, this is how we got rid of the "paper stack" of bills and important mail, each bill or important mail (insurance info, bank statements etc...) has a folder and when the folder is full we put the dates on the folder and file it in our filing cabinet (and start all over) - this is a similar concept, I may post mine (done before I saw this pin) by stacy

Then, YO and pull through two loops, YO and pull through two more, and two more, and two more. The stitch is complete. This throw is done with rows of HDC worked in back loops only, using bulky (weight class 5) or super-bulky (weight class 6) acrylic yarn & probably hook size P. The picture shows it folded in half, seller says it's about 43" x 60". Super-easy & very fast, would make an impressive gift. #crochet #afghan #blanket by RuLo

Emergence - The milky way rises over Lake Bonney - shot with the Nisi night filter. This piece of glass is good to remove the orange glow of sodium lights (better than using sliders in LR) but, a major caveat is the 1 stop of light it blocks. I'd recommend it only if your camera handles 6400 iso well with usable noise otherwise, shooting milky ways is difficult. (the reflection is the image is partially done in post process) by arlene

This pattern uses less than one skein of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn. It is a simple pattern, using the V-Stitch, worked in the round. Gauge is not necessary and the hat can be made bigger or smaller by using a a larger or smaller hook size, or by adding more rounds for additional “slouch”. It is a lacy, light weight hat. by dill.pixel.5

In this post I will be talking about a demonstration I use to show my students what digestion looks like in the rest of the digestive system.
