Before frosting, make sure your cake is shorter than a kit-kat bar, if not trim some off the top to leave room for the M’s. Frost and take a bunch of kit-kat bars (about 4 large packages), cut or gently break each bar into two sections. Place the bars on the cake, gently pushing into the frosting. Tie with a ribbon and fill the center with M’s (about 1 large bag). This cant be good. by Small Flower

Fill a shallow box or tray with salt or sand and draw out your words with your finger or a paint brush. Taking the spellings away from a pencil and paper can be much more appealing to children, and you’re adding in an extra sensory dimension by using the touchy-feely salt. Making some colourful backgrounds to lay under the salt gives you a nice surprise to reveal with your letters. by agnes

Start by cutting around 50 lengths of wire, and begin wrapping the edges of a few pieces of wire around the base of a candle to form a spiral that will hold the candle in place. Make as many spirals as you like depending on how many candles you would like your tree to hold. Twist the remaining pieces of wire together to form tree branches, and then wrap all the wires together to form your tree trunk leaving around three or four inches at the end to make the tree roots. by Hercio Dias
