If you'd like to make your own flower, all you need is toilet paper rolls (or paper towel rolls) and craft glue. Flatten the rolls, cut into bands (a toilet paper roll should give you about four circles). Pop them out a bit so that you have a flower petal shape, and glue together on a flat surface, in any pattern you desire! Leave plain or spray paint. by Linda N Howard Murphy

DIY Paper Plate Ghost You just need to glue the streamers and some arms onto the back of a paper plate, glue another plate over the back of the first paper plate to cover up all the mess, and add a face. For the younger kids, you can cut out the eyes and mouth from black cardstock and just have them glue them on. Older kids can cut out or draw by Kickapoohbear

No pattern except for a brown circle (for the head) and a red circle (for that big ol' nose). The rest we just did it step by step together using a sheet of brown construction paper (cut a rectangle for the neck, cut strips for the arms and antlers, etc.) I love how they all turned out so different...and so darn cute. by mamie

3 minute homemade donuts Ingredients: Can of jumbo biscuits Vegetable oil Directions: Let the oil get REALLY hot; if it's not hot enough it'll just make your donuts greasy. Cut your biscuits into 1/4 pieces. Drop them into the oil, a few at a time. They cook really fast, probably less than 1 minute. Take them out when they get nice and brown. Set your donuts on a paper towel for a minute or two, then roll them in sugar. by J.H.

Leaf Glitter: These dimensional drawings are made using leaves from your yard, lending them the subtle colors of late autumn. With a pencil, sketch a simple shape on card stock. Draw over the pencil lines with glue, then sprinkle on the leaf pieces. Let the glue dry, then gently tap the paper to remove any by lindsey
