1950's Black and Pink Silk Taffeta. I just love this style of neckline, and the huge skirt, but I don't know if I'd ever wear it. Maybe if it had a cousin that was a wrap dress. I can't stand girdles, and you'd need some serious underthings for this!

National Cheese Lover's Day is January 20th. I'm a cheese lover, but I admit that my taste in cheeses is probably low brow. I'm running to the new cheese shop in town and asking them to make up a cheese board for us. Maybe I'll just go there and order one of their cheese plates to eat there! They'll match it with wine and charcuterie!
Can't cook all the time.
If you can't go out, this will link you to a site which expounds on cheese

#travelcolorfully “we wanted to evoke that bygone era when air travel was a bit more glamorous than it is today. but the really great thing about this picture was that it was taken on a set that was originally built for the hilarious [1980] movie airplane! we had a lot of fun while we were shooting, trying to remember lines from the film—like ‘i am serious…and don’t call me shirley’—so it was a very charming day. some photographers feel that they get better pictures if they’re being forceful, but i find i take my best pictures when people are having a good time. ” —chris craymer

Asian Fried Quinoa... It's not often I find a recipe that my kids ask for by name! But this Asian Inspired Quinoa had even my "I'm not a quinoa fan" son asking when I'd make it again! #healthyoptions @livlifetoo
