I have been to China twice and although there are more places I'd rather go, I must see the Great Wall at some point.

A variety of Geraniums have been planted already in my back courtyard! I like the colour combo here with the red chair and also the different pots. Cute! ;)

Pot Roast with Stout Gravy || "Needless to say, it since became my standard pot roast recipe. So much more flavor that your standard Crock-Pot variety pot roast. Not only that, but I feel like it’s been improved upon by trying out different beers." #tideandthyme.com

Irish culture and Ireland have always grabbed my attention. I went once when I was 8 and it was the most spectacular place I have ever been. Experiencing other cultures and places around the world is not only something I enjoy but a very important aspect to tolerance around the world.
I have shared my love of voki.com with some of you (so check if out if you've never been there!) but here is a list of 20 ways to use Voki in the classroom.
Written by @Marsha Penner Penner Myrum the previous pinner: Closeup of blue iris. This is my design. I gave this to my hair dresser for a xmas gift. If you don't have the perfect fabric, paint it. Some of my flower petals have been painted with fabric dye to get just the right color.
I loved small areas and places I could hide and read when I was a kid. This would have been cool, and a lot easier than removing all the hard toys from my toy chest, laying blankets on top of the stuffed animals and closing the top on myself.
not my comment but i agree 100%. Ive been so many cool, exciting places. But there's only one place where, no matter how many times I go, I have a constant smile on my face. My heart pounds. I feel just like a little kid. And that place is a baseball stadium. Doesn't matter whether it's major, minor, or farm league - as long as it's a baseball stadium.
Blended tomatoes, red onions, yellow onions, orange and yellow bell peppers, jalapeños, and threw into my beef broth, added kale, a small amount of whole fat cream, and the shredded beef I originally cooked in crock pot and now I have some delicious soup! #primal

To make my rosette corsages, gather lengths of lace and hand-sew them to make ruffled rosettes. I like the idea of combining the lace with silk flowers that have been disassembled, coffee dyed, or stamped upon with ink stamps for different effects. Some of the flat ones could be used in a scrapbook.
one handed handstand is such a monster pose! it takes so long to develop the strength, balance, and confidence to even hold this beast for a few seconds. i have been working on it for the last year or so and now i can finally hold it a little but my alignment is pretty lame. i guess its always good to have some new semi-crazy thing to work on!
My imagination for my New Orleans board is from all the old homes that have been renovated. Double doors, molding, hard wood floors.. I just imagine that this is what some of the homes look like now!! And how i would do it if living in such a wonderful place!! If im wrong to those true New orleanions im really sorry to insult you:)

I am moving and decluttering and hence, going through a lot of old possessions that have been living in my closets for years. Therefore, posting some old stuff from my portfolio.
~~PAT SMITH, whose diplomat son Sean died in the raid, slammed the Pres's remarks. 'It's insensitive to say my son's not very optimal-he is also very dead. I've not been "optimal" since he died & the past few weeks have been pure hell. I'm still waiting for the truth to come out & I still want to know the truth. I'm finally starting to get some answers but I won't give up. 'There's a lot of stupid things that've been said about my son & what happened & this is another one of them.'
This is what I think everyone truly wants to hear… To feel needed and loved. I know I do….. This has been quite the evening and night for so many reasons. It’s late and I have to get up in a few hours but first I think first a good cry is in order to cleanse my soul and grieve for what is over and what will never be. And in a few hours when the new day is here I will get up, put things behind me and move towards finding some magic….. Goodnight my beautiful and lo

Learning the Viola/Violin/Cello - Week 23/Week 14/Week 7 - Bach Again by Brent Haeseker. This week on learning how to play the violin, viola and cello I get rained out. Despite having an off day playing, I manage to give some feedback on my cello and viola playing. Once again I'm playing the Bach piece I have been working on.
Starbucks-style chai tea recipe. I've been looking for a pregnancy-safe chai recipe, and this one fit the bill perfectly! I tried it out, and oh my goodness, it really DOES taste JUST like the chai lattes from Starbucks. I'm going to have to invest in some cardamom for my spice cabinet collection now...
Gratitude Diet Day 25 - Christmas in London. The Brits know how to do this holiday and do it right. I don’t think I’ve had one conversation in the last two weeks about shopping or presents. There’s still a large emphasis on traditions, relaxing, good food and taking time out to spend with the people you love. Commercial Santa seems to have skipped over the British Isles, and headed straight to those places where credit cards have been maxed and family fights reign supreme. But not here. OH… a...
