All you need is a package of Mason jars, some cotton string and some liquid citronella (find it in big jugs at any home-improvement store and even some grocery stores). Use a hammer and nail to poke a hole in the top of the lid, then pour in the citronella, put the top on and drop in the wick. Allow the string about 10 minutes to soak up some oil, then place them around your backyard and light them! by alisa

I can't believe that I just found out about Mod Podge!! Lol. If you already use it or if you're just starting, making your own Mod Podge is so simple & costs pennies compared to buying it already made at the store. All you do is mix equal parts Elmers Glue (just like the kiddos use in Elementary School) & water. I like to use a large mason jar w/ lid or large bottle dish soap comes in after it's empty (rinse out well). I put in 2 bottles of glue & equal amt of water, Shake well and Voila!!:) by virgie

Mod Podge. Love the stuff, but after a while it can get quite expensive. So for years now I’ve used Elmer's School Glue. I buy it by the gallon and make up the Mod Podge recipe as I need it in a mason jar. Just add half water, half Elmer's glue, replace the lid, shake it up and you’re ready to go. If you need it thicker, use less water! My preferred rate of dilution is 3/4 Glue, 1/4 water. by virgie
