here’s that Paramore music video I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was 2nd Assistant Director on. Shot in one day in Austin, TX on near the UT campus during SXSW. Most of the crew was Austin based. This was a super fun shoot. Not into the music, but it’s a fun video and I’m psyched to have been a part of it. by ann

Yes, I’m addicted to making soups in the cooler months. And there is nothing better than finding delicious chicken enchilada soup recipes that your gang adores.  I made this chicken enchilada soup recipe a few weeks ago when I had some friends staying with us. They loved it, and requested the recipe. So, I thought I would share it with you, too! This chicken enchilada soup recipe is cheesy and creamy. Jar lighting has been a popular trend in the last 2 years. I really like the look of this light because the jars have a cut glass look to them and the use of the edison bulbs give it a very industrial chic look. You might have noticed that I've been posting a little less than usual the last couple of weeks. My freelance graphic design work is really keeping me busy and I just haven't had the time to blog. I'm still sneaking in a little bit of sewing and instagramming. Even though I'm busy with work, I still want to do some DIY, so super quick and easy projects are the order of the day. Today, I have a little DIY inspiration for a simple dress, perfect for the approaching Fall season. You're thinking about your Fall wardrobe too, right? I can't wait! by effie

The 1950s have made a huge comeback in men's fashion in the last few months. Men display this trend by sporting slim-fit jeans, tortoise-shell, fedoras and oxfords wingtips. Desigers that have embraced this trend are Billy Reid and Orelbar Brown with short, 50's inspired swim trunks. Brenna L by pat-75

Bleak can be beautiful. You may have noticed a trend emerging in wedding world over the last year or so - and that trend showcases the barren beautifulness of nature. Desolate places, bare and wind stripped, can be places of organic reverie, and today's bridal inspiration draws its musings from the cold, stark coast. Sea and stone is a wistful notion with longing and paired back beauty. Mixed with teal and gold it's simply striking. Words and images by Becca Blevins Photography. by margie

Thyme pruning tips (4 kinds of pruning and when to use them). My thyme needs help. It is in full sun in a hanging basket. I pruned lightly last Spring-Summer, but it got very woody on me. I may not have pruned enough. I read also that Thyme does well in sandy soil that has good drainage. Full sun here in FL may be too much. The thyme at my garden center sits under a cover that lets most of the light in, but has a shady effect. They are always green and bushy with new growth. by lee
