ice cream truck 1960s. Reuben Schlipalius, "Mr Slip" sold a wide range of flavours from his cart and from a shop in Sorrento. Before that, his brother, Alby, sold ice cream in Frankston from a horsedrawn cart in the late 40s and early 50s. They made 42 flavours of ice cream, using a hand churn. They hand-packed their quarter-pint and one-pint cartons with wooden spoons. Plum pudding was their signature flavour. In honour of the family there's a Blairgowrie park called Slip's Reserve.
