Boned, lined bodice with leg of mutton sleeves overlaid with cape-like expanse of velvet, matching velvet stand-up collar & gauntlet cuffs. Twilled wool petersham with hook & eye closure and cut-steel and brass-filigree buttons. Bustle skirt has purple velvet band inside hemline, black polished cotton lining & twilled waistband with hooks & eyes.
