Buckeyes. An Ohio staple, these little guys are our state chocolate and they are delicious. I use my own recipe, but this one was the closest to mine. (I use Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate. Which is way more swank and vegan.) And if you are feeling super gourmet you can dip them in white chocolate or drizzle. They are wicked easy (but tedious), and people LOVE them when I make them.
Complete instruction available. Basically: After boiling eggs, peal, cut remove yolk, then make the colors just as you would easter egg dye. A teaspoonful of cider vinegar in each glass helps. I used about 3 drops of food coloring in each glass. Take out when pastel color.
